Nice setup Dude!
But have thought about emission testing? Will your vehicle pass the sniff-test? I am curious since I like to put a kit on and I also live in PA!
:(
Nope, won't pass worth a lick... ;)
But there's always ways around that. :D
Eric
You should see if you can hook up with a mechanic for your EM test, that's what I'm doing!
Sup fellaz! I'm new to the forum but long time member of other forums. I wanted to say that Eric's car is pretty quick out their on "Holstien" and the streets of philly. Hauls ass but the cars weight is holding it back from pulling on most of them dam eg's and crx's out their.
btw Eric, I'm the guy who raced you in the black teg side by side. 1st run I mis shift, ring any bells? We definately have to run again on 84th st or the back of 84th st. Down to race for some money or gas?
What did you dyno on a dyno jet, dynopack, or mustang dyno?
Ahhhh yeah i remember you!!!
Thanks for the props. The car is a lead turd compared to the older hatchies that's for sure.
Dyno Machine was a DynoJet 248c.
As for racing for money - it goes against my principals. I do the whole modding thing for fun and I reap the rewards only for fun.
Sorry if that's a let down but it's the way i am.
Oh, and your car is hott as shit too, BTW! ;)
I didn't know you were from So. Philly too! maybe you'd be up to attend some of our drives, track days and DIY days ;)
Eric
It's all good with the "racing for money BS", it just makes it more intense and the feeling you get when you line up. You know what I mean, the "Adrenaline Rush".
Thanks, but my car is alright and not that impressive to most cars I've seen.
Your limited to 11psi correct, cause of the stock map sensor?
Thought about this for the future?
http://hondata.com/kprorelease.html
i'm limited to 12psi and only because i would need internals to go further. if i change pistons and rods i can crank it up to 22psi. If i also do a sleeve and block guard i can run 35psi.
Nothing else needs changing...
Eric
with a very conservative tune and timing, stock internals and sleeves can handle 300-350whp with ease.

btw where did you get dynoed at?
New German Performance in Aberdeen, MD

Right by Westchester off of rt1 for only $75hr. We will be heading back on the 15th hopefully I'll get my 3" exhaust by then.
couldn't find a single post about k-series motors on that site. Oh, and ain't no way i'm runnin more boost stock. i have the engine spec and tolerances and the block won't handle more boost - regardless of tuning...
Besides, i found a way to get a fair bit above 300WHP and stay at 10psi...
Eric
i seen eric this weekend in philly... i dont race much cause i loose to b16s too much... but eric makes up for my loosing by smoking mustangs and what not..Quote:

boost by august for me i hope
what did u get on ur top speed???
top speed?? the car's top speed is 142mph no matter how fast or slow you get there - unless you do something to change the gearing in the tranny...
