i didnt have run into any of those issues, i just used all the parts that came with the k24. I have heard you dont need to tap off that coolent port it just opens up at idle then close right back up. post pic if this didnt answer your questions

"K24a2 -you also have to swap the crank position sensor and use the ep3 thermostat and housing. You also have to tackle the coolant port issue on the head. You can either tap it and reroute it back or you can get the rbc intake manifold and karcepts adapter."
Can someone point me in the right direction to find out how to tackle the coolant port issue on the head?
I want to tap the head.

Do i have to swap the k20a3 thermostat assembly or the k20a3 water pump onto the k24a2? I have a k24a2 with RBB3 head and RAA-4 intake manifold can i use this with my stock k20a3 throttle body? What other parts are necessary for this swap besides crv side mount bracket, hydraulic power steering delete, pulley swap and kpro? Thanks a lot guys!
