i dont really get what youre asking... you grinded 3rd before you installed the bcss? so now its hard for you to get into 4th? could be a blown synchro.. but im no tranny expert. it can be fixed.
as for the bcss. i love mine, its a Great mod.
I just installed the SS and it feels a lot shorter. it is a little stiffer than stock but i grinded 3rd the other day ( b4 SS) and now its hard to get in fourth. can these be fixed. but i am really satisfied with the difference it made in throws.

indeed....the BCSS was one of my fav mods
although i cut my hand up to shit installing it
really? how? the only thing that was a pain in the ass was the cables
you should also change your tranny fluid...it might help for a bit...
I think you gotta shift a little slower... I grind too but only when I'm gunn'n and shiftin like a maniac.
The metal ball/studs on the shift arm (under the plastic bushings) on the BCSS are not machined very well. They contain some ridges that may affect shifting smoothness. It is a good idea to pop the plastic cap off and using sandpaper, make them really smooth, clean, and relube them.
That may be a cause of the notchiness you're feeling.
How to properly use Apostrophes
The rev limiter is not meant to be used as a shift light
I just installed mines last night, great mod. I love it!
Thanks for all your input ill try to sand them down and see what happens.
