Going to pick me up one this week at pep boys!!
which was mentioned. the ball stud can be found here

which was also mentioned. rip the ball stud out of the socket with some pliers and a little brute force and you have the piece you need. worked plenty fine for me
lol no worries i found it to be a necessity in my setup, so i figured i share the information i found
did not feel like going to pepboys searched ( SG326011 ) on ebay and was able to get the strut for under 20 dollars shipped! boom!
I ordered the SG326011 on ebay and it did not come with the bracket piece, just a ball on both ends. The seller is trying to tell me this is all it comes with, but did your strut come with the angled bracket?
the angled bracket does not come with it. you have to 'source'/fab it on your own

Any tips on sourcing a bracket? I'm working away from home and can't fab anything right now. Also, my shock came with two of the ball studs with threaded studs that fit into the sockets on both ends of the shock. Is there a reason you need the ball stud from mcmasters?
mine refused to close no matter where I put the strut, so I have the passport strut for free, you pay shipping.
